LOGJAM FOR SECOND

There is a three way logjam for second place after the Rocanville Tigers downed the KW Oil Kings 7-3 on Friday night.

The victory improved the Tigers' record to 5-and-3 and into a tie with Theodore and Bredenbury for second place in the standings.  Both the Buffalos and Cougars are 5-and-1.

Those clubs are two points behind the Ochapowace Thunder, who lost for the second time in as many nights, this ttime to the Langenburg Warriors by a score of 5-4.

In Kipling, Ashley Howie led the way with a five point game, scoring three and setting up two others.  Dustin Fisher had two goals and two assists for the Tigers.  Brad Hickman added a goal and three helpers as that line combined for thirteen points.  Stephane Robidoux also scored for Rocanville.  Logan Dew, Rodney Reid, and Kent Larsen scored for the Oil Kings.

In Langenburg, Kyle Inkster scored twice, including the winner midway through the third period to snap a 4-4 tie.  The Thunder had first period leads of 2-0 and 3-1 but couldn't hold on.  Charlie Kitz, Kyle Mund, Jake McDonell also scored for the Warriors.  The Thunder were led by Leland Wasacase, who had two.  Anthony Kinistino and Kirkland Cameron had singles.
