BREDENBURY TIES SERIES WITH THEODORE
- Submitted by

The Bredenbury Cougars took advantage of home ice in game two of their Triangle Hockey League semifinal series on Friday night, jumping out to a 4-0 lead and settling on a 4-3 win over the Theodore Buffalos to tie up their best of five set at a win apiece.

It was 3-0 after one as Zak Majkowski, Drew Putland, and Zach Korchinski solved Kevin Dziaduck in the opening twenty.  Brandon Pelletier made it 4-0 with 5:26 to go in the second.

The Buffs put a scare into things with Justin Keller getting his team on the board late in the middle frame and then midway through the third it was Josh Garbutt and John Neibrandt scoring a minute apart to make it a nailbiter, but Adam Stokes was perfect in the final 10 minutes.

The two sides meet again on Tuesday in Theodore.
