FLYERS SHOCK BUFFS

The Esterhazy Flyers used a first period and early second period barrage to down the Theodore Buffalos 6-3 on Friday night.

Adamik Frumen broke a 1-1 tie with a goal late in the first and then Jesse Stevenson tacked on another before the buzzer and then Jon Jenson upped the lead to 4-1 two and a half minutes into the middle frame.

Frumen and Drew Putland finished with two goals and one assist each.  Scott Woytas collected four helpers.  Stevenson and Jenson rounded out the goal scoring.

Jeremy Johnson, Tanner Lesann, and Derrick Schwartz scored for Theodore.

Chris Korchinski scored two shorthanded goals and Nic Chartier had the hat trick as Bredenbury beat Langenburg 7-3.

Sean Kolodziejski and Clarke Byczynski also scored for the Cougars, who improve to 8-and-2.  They have a share of first place with Ochapowace.

Patrick Tran, Rylan Nernberg, and Tristin Kotzer scored for the Warriors.
