TIGERS CLAIM CHAMPIONSHIP

Konrad McKay scored three goals and the Rocanville Tigers had a five goal first period outburst as they defeated the Theodore Buffalos 9-2 on Sunday to win the best of five league championship series in three straight games.

Devon LeBlanc had a goal and three assists for the Tigers and Travis Statz added a pair of goals for Rocanville.

Ashley Howie, Niko Grose, and Brett Hope rounded out the scoring for Rocanville.

Cody Zubko had both goals for Theodore.

LeBlanc had an amazing playoff run with 15-goals and 16-assists in 7-games to lead all scorers.

McKay, Howie, and Regel all finished with 10 goals in the postseason to finish second to LeBlanc.

Meanwhile, Scott Shivak went 8-and-0 with a 2.38-GAA.
