WARRIORS HANG ON FOR ONE GOAL VICTORY

Tyrel Thorpe scored three goals as the Langenburg Warriors won their second in a row, 5-4 over the Bredenbury Cougars on Saturday night in a penalty filled affair.

The Warriors actually led 4-0 after one and the Cougars got to within 4-3 before Thorpe capped his hat trick midway through the third.

Kyle Inkster and Jake McDonell had the other goals for the Warriors, who will be without Charlie Kitz for the next two as he was suspended following the game for checking from behind.

Don. St. Marie had two for Bredenbury, with singles coming from Lee Janett and Clarke Byczynski.

The other game scheduled for Saturday between Rocanville and Theodore was postponed and no make-up date has been set.
